Silverwareback (alone) received 3rd place in the Miscellaneous Category at Gateway Art Council's Spring Fling 2011. He was also awarded the Peoples' Choice Award and the Students' Choice Award. Good practice for ArtPrize!

Gary, God bless you. I saw you yesterday at the Way International 69th Anniversary celebration. It was a delight to speak with you. Your work is truly an inspiration of God's handiwork. Not only in the realistic animals but in your excellent craftmanship that you do to bring them to life. You are God's Best! I showed the librarian here at the library your website and she was amazed at the beauty of the animals. Thanks for taking the time to talk to me. It's a blessing to get to know a little about your wonderful life. I love you, Bro! and am believing the best for you and your family. Gary and Tonnie Hovey

Gary and Tonnie Hovey have been involved in art projects together since meeting in a high school art class. They have been married 35 years and have four children.
Gary does the sculpting and Tonnie does the paperwork.
